I'd equate this to a girl (who's trying to eschew the gold-digger label) saying she doesn't care if a man has money as long as he has ambition and intelligence. Well, if he has those qualities, there is little chance he's penniless.

I won't knock your experience. Interestin' that you find correlation in those qualities lackin' in men. Sounds like the men you meet are either fantastic or worthless. No in between.

But unless you inherit it, the ambition has to come before the pennies.
