$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I don't think Phil Jackson will put himself in a position where he doesn't have a superstar and a good chance to win a title just for some money.

I think he'll stay in Montana hoping Scott Brooks gets hit by a bus.

Not true. Nets was trash when he got there, and the roster has been significantly changed every year for 3 years straignt and on top of that, you center piece in Lopez can't stay healthy.

Nets fans have gotten delusional this year

:what: lopez played all 82 games his 1st 2nd & 3rd years
last year was da 1st he got hurt

Lopez didn't break his foot during the lockout season?

Lopez aint missed about 10 games already this season?

This is my point. Avery got there in 2010 right?

Derrick Favors was a bad lottery pick for them and that didn't pan out

They missed out on Lebron\Bosh and ended up with Travis Outlaw, and you know that didn't work out

The Carmelo trade rumors were distracting plus the D-Pain rumors were distracting too. All this going on on top of Lopez breaking his foot last year..

All this happened in 3 short years. No cohesiveness and constant roster changes is not a recipe for success.

Factor in that Avery uses old school yelling and micro managing as his coaching style which is a turn off to the young prima donna players, and you end up with what happened yesterday..

A poorly managed franchise that's unknowingly setting themselves back

Kelvin Sampson has emerged as a serious candidate to become the next head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, according to sources. Sampson is an assistant with the Houston Rockets and did an impressive job as interim head coach while Kevin McHale was away on a personal matter with his ailing daughter. Sampson had a 7-6 record in McHale's absence. Sampson has been praised for his ability to connect with star players.
:leon: :russ: Didn't he have Toney Douglass in during crunch time and benching Lin. He had some terrible rotations when he was interim coach when I watched the Rockets from what I remember.
