There’s mad MC’s and producers on here. And I get why. You want to see what people are saying and if you come up in any talks, lol. I don’t have any issues with Kweli. The details might be a bit exaggerated (time does that to memory sometimes), but Kweli was one of the more prominent names in the late '90s, early '00 NY indie/underground scene. I vaguely remember either some instagram, twitter, or facebook post from one of the members of Natural E last year bigging up Kweli cuz he shouted them out on some recent song he did saying how he sharpened his freestyle skills spitting with them, so I'm sure there are stories floating around about him people would know about.

Everyone has an off night on the mic, it's not out of the realm of possibility to get booed or one-upped in a cypher. This would be over 20 years ago we're talking about.
