Rancho Cucamonga- Death Investigation

DATE/TIME: Saturday, September 5, 2020/5:52 p.m.

INCIDENT: Death Investigation

LOCATION: 9000 block 9th Street, Rancho Cucamonga

DECEDENT: Tatianna ****, age 36, a resident of Compton

SUSPECT: Cory Carmichael, age 34, a resident of Claremont

SUMMARY:

On Saturday, September 5, 2020, at about 5:52 p.m., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an accidental shooting with injuries at an indoor gun range located in the 9000 block of 9th Street. Deputies arrived and found Tatianna **** and Cory Carmichael, each suffering from a gunshot wound. **** and Carmichael were transported to a local area hospital. **** was pronounced deceased at the hospital. Carmichael was treated at the hospital and later released. Detectives from the Rancho Cucamonga Station and Specialized Investigations Division investigated the incident and discovered the shooting occurred while Carmichael was in the process of clearing one of the handguns.

Multiple interviews were conducted, no arrests have been made. Upon completion, the report will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for review.

Also if she got shot by him then that means at some point the barrel of the gun was pointed at her, which is just the most obvious noob way to fukk up at a range. So this leads me to believe this was on purpose...

Just speaking on people with guns in general, you shouldn't be concerned about people with guns that DON'T want to kill you or take something from you based off some idiots you see on the internet.

the average legal gun owning citizen knows rule #1 is don't point the barrel of the gun at something you don't want to die. If the obvious rookie and/or idiot in this video had respect for his gun or that womans life this wouldn't have happened

These demons know black women and men are trying to legally defend themselves and are training at the gun ranges. This piece of garbage shot this sista on purpose. Please go in groups of other black folks to avoid stuff like this. Brehs/Brehettes with information on black owned gun stores/ranges like RedStone Firearms out in burbank California please drop the info.

We cannot have these slick ass cacs with fake misfires trying to take us out while we train to defend ourselves. One of the first things they teach you at gun ranges/training is to keep your weapon aimed down range not to the side or aimed at anybody.

I mean let's call a spade a spade.. Dude is clearly a fukking idiot and should be charged, but let's not act like it was on purpose. He could have easily also just as easily killed himself with the way he was handling the firearm.

damn...granted it’s entirely his fault but still she should’ve moved or warned him not to point it at her...even when I’m cleaning my shyt and I KNOW it’s unloaded I still am wary where I aim it...he definitely should’ve been far more careful than that and should be facing some form of charges...I stopped going to the range back in '08...too many cacs there and too much room for “accidents”...sad shyt RIP
