I just watched this depressing video again, and I noticed he actually turned a little towards her before the gun went off. And just because he shot himself in the arm don't mean he wasn't aiming at her. It almost proves that he was. These kind of accidents usually happen at home, when you're alone, and less careful because nobody is around you. But when you're cleaning a gun around people, like for example a gun range, no way are you going to be pointing a gun towards anybody, especially right next to you. The more I watch this video, and the more I think about it, the less this seems like an accident.

Do you live in an urban area and visit gun ranges?

I'm now a part of a black gun group and black women shoot breh. There was a time I would've agreed with you because in my experience thats what I saw. In my own city I know of 3 ranges I could spend 10 hours a day, 7 days a week at and never see another black woman and be able to count on 2 hands how many other black men I saw.

There's one range that was close to my house, that's where I first got my ccw and there were more black women then black men, more black women then white women. And when I took my self defense shooting class there were a bunch of black women.

Black women shoot at ranges breh. Maybe not at the ones you go to, maybe not during the times you go but reach out, they are there.

And when I say they shoot you'll see a group of friends, sisters, mother daughter. The occasional spouse. But this is my experience. I figured I'd see more black women with their man or whatever. Nope. But this range is closer to the hood and there are other (not nicer, but other) ranges close to the suburbs. In my entire time living and shooting in 2 states I've never seen or heard of a black woman committing suicide or killing someone else intentionally at a range. I have heard of white women killing themselves, killing their kid then themselves, killing their spouse (intentionally).

a troll can throw any label on me they want to. I'm just glad that I'm not the only one that saw that devil gradually turning the weapon to aim at that sista before he cleared the jam and shot her. Received no charges for that. Don't let this woman's death be in vain. Let people know that folks can try these types of stunts at gun ranges

The White man was one of the range instructors! When they do get accidentally shot while training, which is rare enough, it's usually by one of the trainees. As I suspected, he had experience cleaning his gun more than the average person, and probably knew he was putting that Black woman in danger. With his experience handling weapons, he probably thought he could pull it off without getting injured. Why are White people whose job require handling a gun, always accidentally shooting Black people? That seem to increased since Obama. Like I said, this sounds more and more intentional. Btw, I found out this happened a month before the election, and not afterwords. But imo it was still close enough, and everybody had a good ideal who was going to win.

It's a coincidence that her name was Tatianna too, like Tatianna Jefferson, who was killed by that White cop in Texas, who didn't even identify himself, knowing the girl was home.

This. I'm having a VERY hard time believing that was an accident. That video clearly shows him slowly position himself on the low to shoot her. How do we not know this guy's name yet? How is there not a newspaper article on this incident? I want to know more about this guy. I want to know his political beliefs, what websites he frequents, the social circles he moves in, etc..

Regardless the indoor range should have range safety managers there and the guy should be charge with Negligent homicide

Some reports say he was cleaning his weapon and some reports say he was clearing his weapon. I think he was actually clearing it. With that said, then again it makes him look even more guilty, especially since the gun was obviously jammed. That's when you really don't want to be pointing that thing at anybody. This comes to most people automatically, whether they're familiar with firearms or not, when it gets jammed. When I had my dog, I wouldn't even clean my weapon with him in the house. Clearing a gun jam, I would have been even more careful. As for an instructor, pointed the gun down when clearing it should be a subconscious reflex, since they do it everyday. When I was an armed Federal Officer, anytime that weapon was out of my holster, it was pointed down when it was handed to me by the clerk, and when I returned it to the clerk at the end of my shift. That got ingrained into my brain. But when you're an instructor or a trainer, these things get ingrained even deeper into your brain. If it didn't, then you weren 't allowed to be a trainer, or carry a firearm period.
