If you have a custom font then hashtags won't work. You'll have to edit them into your post. That's what I do at least.

and im not sure your @ notifications are working. if your using the default font thing in your settings then it won't let you use @ mentions or #hashtags . we have vbulletin, which isnt as fancy as what you guys have but we're used to it
