In any case. You do you and I'll do me. I can say right now my jeans dont smell at all and to this day still get compliments on the way they look.
And yes, weight does have an effect. I dont know any serious person who dry cleans their jeans. You soak it in water whether its on a clothesline in the rain, tub of water, bucket, whatever. But dry clean? Nah my nikka. A soak is all that's necessary.
I googled, "washed jeans every six months" and found nothing but CEO's of clothiers saying they dont wash their jeans. But you're in here talking shyt? Don't let the nudie jeans tag fool you. Even they say wait AT LEAST six months and that is if youre wearing the jeans daily. If you're wearing once or twice a week, simple math says you can wait 21 months before washing breh.

I only wear raw denim but not the expensive kind. I buy 2 pairs of Levis and wear them all year no wash a couple dry cleans then wash after they are broken in proper and get a couple new raw pairs. Cycle thru bout 4 pair raw and slightly washed. All this still cost less than 1 pair of APC or whatever top brand. Been doing this for bout 7 years.

The raw denim wash once a year thing is a well known practice but it is not meant to be literal like said by others dry clean is cool and def no press.

Levis are cool for summer. But i like wearing heavier denim in the spring/winter. You can find naked and famous raws for like 70 bucks on karmaloop if you catch them when they're having a sale. Same price as levis and they'll last longer + are heavier
I'll give em a shot. I need tough winter denim out here. I used to wear some double plated Levis work pants back in the baggy era that were GOAT winter pants. Had me walking thru blizzards with a smile on my face.
