i don't even like rondo's game really, but at least rondo can give you a consistent scoring threat even though is jumper is trash too...but i think you will see rondo exposed as being not that great when he comes back, he benefited from having 3 hall of famers facilitate his game and his numbers...he will still be better than rubio depending on his athleticism

rubio has nothing to offer on offense, and he routinely gets raped off the PnR...he lets nikkas blow by him that have no business getting around him

he's had a few triple doubles, kevin love has had 10 times as many....kevin love therefore is a better point guard than rubio :mjpls:

I prefer John Wall over any of these PGs anyway :yeshrug:

i was one of the few from the jump that said he was going to be a bust

from the outset they hyped him up to be a steve nash level passer, but nothing else...how did they expect it to translate to the league? :dead:
me and you both, he's overrated as fukk. all he is is some good defense and overrated passing skills.

Hes the best pure point guard in the league. He plays basketball. He doesnt play streetball like Kyrie and these new cats. :umad:
maybe his team would be in the playoffs if he played streetball like these "new cats" :umad:

if Brevin Knight didn't get the max back in the day Rubio's camp need to stfu

:russ: I'm sure Rubio and his agent realize he's not getting a max shyt he's not even getting Ty lawson money. And Rubio May move merchandise and have Spanish fans but I'd still trade his ass....bet you the twolves would be better with lowry or jameer koopa Nelson

When i saw him play in person I got a much better feel for why some people regard him as such a special talent. Reminded me of this story I read the other day about Lloyd Daniels, someone described him as having a jazzman's feel for the game. Rubio has that kind of natural anticipation on both ends.

The main problem with him isn't even his horrible shooting. It's that he has no confidence in attacking on offense. Rondo can't shoot, but he can get in the lane and finish. Rubio can't. J. Kidd couldn't shoot for shyt, but he damn sure controlled games. So shooting isn't the be all and end all. But unless Rubio develops a floater or develops the confidence to go at motherfukkers in the paint, he's going to be a waste of potential.
