AYE VERB VS BRIZZ RAWSTEEN SMACK/ URL

This battle is fukking weird. On the first listen, I was seriously underwhelemd.

But a second listen made me like it quite a bit more. Something seems off about the environment of this event in general. Maybe it's just the translation to camera?

I think Verb gets this 2-1 or 3-0. I'm having a hard time changing modes from Verb's bar heavy attack to Brizz' performing.
Verb's first was a lot stronger on a second listen. His third was insane... that showtime...

I don't think it was a bodybag yet, but it's a clear win for Verb. Brizz showed up and showed that he CAN do it, he just needs to find out what to add to his style that actually works, cause them old ass angles did not work. I said it in the big thread, but Brizz is always going to be heavily room dependent. He'd do great in the other two leagues in the medium rooms with his delivery and silly ass torture shyt.

So Verb isn't a veteran because Verb get paid like Lux? I guess Lux is the only veteran in the game then, cause NO active battler gets paid like Lux.

Exactly. Everybody ain't a punchline battler. Verb is a great lyricist. The way he puts words together is ridiculous.

I knew this was going to happen unless Brizz called for a Lottazay special for this battle.

I still like Brizz. Realistically, he held my full attention while he was spitting a whole lot of nonsense. It's easier to improve bars than it is to improve presence & delivery, so I'm not worried for him just yet. He just needs someone credible to go through his material with.

The problem is the crowd was going for the rookies, but the rookies didn't really have a lot of moments to justify crowd reaction. They really didn't want to react for the vets like that. It just created an awful environment.

I actually gained more of an appreciation for what Saga did after these last 2 battles though.

I can legit understand being super hype for a Brizz performance after what he's given us. He's all energy so the crowd was expecting that... they just didn't account for how much different that looks when there's more air in the venue and the sound is echoing off walls.

I think Brizz is going to give us some small/medium room classics when he branches out to other leagues... but the big stage is probably going to take time and more suitable opponents.

Yup. It takes me back to Verb vs Marvwon, where Verb totally annihilated Marv lyrically, but the judges gave Marv the decision because he had a few punchlines and a personal.

Not true. Watched the battle several times. Suge should have got way more of a reaction than he did. They only reacted when he said some undeniable shyt.
