Kendrick is by far the most skilled ST from the west. But E-40 deserves a mention too.

Luniz and Dru Down were always underappreciated storytellers imo. They didn't make a bunch of concept songs per se, but they were always great at weaving small storys and cohesive ideas throughout their verses.

WATTBA :wow:

Explicit game is an amazing album btw

1st rapper to come to mind for me would be Cube.

Today Was a Good Day
Once Upon A Time In The projects
Who’s The Mack?
My Summer Vacation
True To The Game
Check Yo Self Remix

All dope story telling tracks.

Perhaps his best attribute is that I think he had great variety.

You Can’t Fade Me is funny, and vile.

Alive on Arrival is a descriptive story of a murder and poor medical attention

Ghetto Vet, years after he declined as an MC, is a great tragic story.

Once Upon a Time in the Projects paints such a great picture.

He’s got so many of these.
