She bored with her life, very bored. I can tell. It's probably a combination of things. Lack of self -fulfillment in her own accomplishments. I don't think she's in a romantic type of love with Steph, not in the same way that he feels about her. She loves him as a companion and along with the financial security and comfort because he feels "safe", but deep inside she wants to see what it's like to live outside the box and her normal routine. The constant competition of viewing other females as threats. I'm sure all the feedback that she got back, made her situation worse with all the negative backlash and comments about her looks and weight.
