I'm sure why you're perplexed. What I quoted pretty much sums up the impact of the social media generation. We have this idea who is perfect and who should be envied, emulated based on public persona and nice instagram pictures. We don't know their lives when the camera is off, just like anyone else who may be looked at as "goals" (instathots, good girls, advice giving men, whatever).
