He doesn't have to. I like lyrical rappers, if they're good (no one is hyping up wack rappers just cause they lyrical). I like Nas & Ghostface, but I'd be upset if everyone in the game sounded just like them. And it's not even hating on Future's "street" raps or his limited subject matter, some of my favorite rappers made careers out of spitting drug/gutter bars.
The thing is this is rap, b. As much as I like a good beat & nice melodies (which Future does have), the rapping is ultimately what makes me check an MC or not. I've listened to a fair amount of Future songs, I think they have their purpose, but he's just not interesting as a rapper to me
He doesn't have bars like that, a lot of his verses/tracks sound alike and he ods on the autotune, so you can't even say he sings well or some shyt like that.
