I never said they are spying on every player. If they have reason to believe that you’re going to damage the NBA brand they’re definitely going to do research on players personal activities especially if you’re one of the faces of the NBA like Dwight Howard was.

You seem to be missing the point since you brought up Steph and giannis. If you’re a player that is suspected of engaging in deviant activities in your off time then the NBA will investigate. They don’t have to worry about players like Steph

This isn't something the NBA would be looking into. You think agents are reporting back to the league that Dwight is a freak and bisexual? If it's not a legal matter they can't invade their privacy. If you're not hanging around street dudes, gamblers, or other criminals they're not watching you. A player could sue the hell out of the league if they outed their sexuality. There's boundaries that have to be followed.

Dwight is no longer in the NBA so of course teams won't touch him but they didn't want him before this story got out.
