Ayo Technology: Weirdos' anthem or ahead of its time? :jbhmm:

I stumbled onto this track today. Haven't heard it in a long time. So I'm listening to the chorus, and I'm like:

Justin's talking like a desperate instagram follower, then Timbo's little bit doesn't help either. Sounding like an old creep.

All in all, this song didn't fit 50 back then and it still doesn't fit him now Maybe he's a voyeur techie in real life but it just doesn't match the hard persona he has/had.

We look at his 'chick' songs. 21 Questions... that's 50. Even the bullshyt Candy Shop song. Still 50. But "I'm tired of using technology?" Gangstas go and take what they want. They don't stare from far using binoculars.

Or was it the video that made this song seem corny? Or was this song ahead of its time? Back then, I remember people being like "ayo technology? the fukk?" Sure we had hi5 and all that shyt, but Twitter/Gram stalking didn't exist like it does now. These days, a cat like Yo Gotti can make Down In The DM and we fukk with it.

Beat's still dope though. Would have been better as a solo Justin song
