Funny because when nobody fukked with him when he first came out, I was a fan. When everybody fukked with him, I stopped being a fan. Dude fell off when he blew up. He wasn't the same dude when he first dropped.

I kind of see what you're saying. But I still think, all things considered, Get Rich or Die Tryin is his best work. His prior stuff is cool, but is in the vein of typical NYC hood rap. Which others did better than him.

Get Rich was 50's sound. Mumble flow and all. It separated him from his peers and was done well enough to be memorable.

Funny cause that's what happened to me too when it came to 50. Was rocking with him since "How To Rob" and then when I heard P.I.M.P., I was immediately :scust: and then heard GRODT and was :smh:

I was fukking with 50 since he was getting mad shine on the Clue tapes (especially the "Great Ones" series).

Had a bootleg copy of "The Power of a Dollar" and a CD w/ all his shyt prior to signing w/ Shady that my boy DJ Deelon, who is now a DJ @ Hot 104.7 up in Maine, made for me.

What up, Juggalo Fred. I see you from Maine.

Anyway I fukked w/ Fif and was mad excited when Em signed him. Rocked w/ him through GRODT, The Massacre, G-Unit... Lately though, it just doesn't feel the same.

I knew a few DJs back in the day so they had this song and "Be A Gentleman" on wax. I liked this song but was pretty indifferent to the other, and 50 in general. When I heard Em signed him I was :what:

Then again when I heard Dre signed Em I was :what: because I had only heard him on The Wake Up Show and Shabaam Sahdeeq's "5 Star Generals". That song is the first time I heard him.

Fred.
I remember I was the only nikka in my hood playing 50 when Guess Who's Back first dropped and everyone was like "You still listen to 50?" and I would tell them yeah his shyt fire. Then a year later everyone was on his dikk after the Eminem cosign SMFH.

I still say that's his best work

Yeah, Curly had classic with this one, pure creativity. I just wished that he only used the the naming-names concept for this song alone, instead of trying to turn the concept into some cheap trend to build attention for POAD.

Why did 50 got extra hard for Jigga?

He was talking about stickin everybody else up but he wanted to murk Jay?
Fif strategy was going at the throne
