I think it’s the fact that it’s because murder is so extreme that if someone does it it’s hard to hide. Rape is different though that shyt goes under the radar a lot of times. The game No mercy is all about grooming women and basically a revenge story on how to treat women because your mother fukked your childhood up. Also you get to fukk your own mother in the game supposedly.

Cause most games where you kill people have it done in a way that's justifiable

If you're killing other humans, it's usually out of self defense. Otherwise you're fighting demons, zombies, monsters, or aliens that obviously don't exist in real life so the violence isn't singling out a group of people that could be victim to real world violence

Every game where you can kill innocent people in the other hand, has been controversial. GTA, postal, hatred, etc. Even the manhunt games, which had you killing other criminals but were so violent that they had to fight censorship and bans

So that kinda weakens your point about how murder is totally acceptable when time and time again it has been controversial

I believe the opposite but I also feel like we should let the rape game and the games like Hatred and Manhunt be.
