Very talented player with a high ceiling, but he's shown some red flags

Still believe in him, he's young, but that's not what you want to hear.

Jaren Jackson Jr. will be the best from that class
Good possibility of that too. He could one day be at the 20 and 10 level with 3 blocks and DPOY potential. Ayton has the skills and talent but sometimes you wonder about the effort he gives on the defensive end of the floor.

You say this when you want to put an emphasis on starting the game off better, not necessarily that you'll give up after trailing big. It's perfectly reasonable to not want to put yourself in that type of hole.

:dahell: the fukk? This is the attitude you don’t want from your #1 pick...that KAT/wiggins demeanour
Especially considering how common comebacks are in the NBA

And that’s why you’re a coach potato. His point was you can’t give up 10-20 point deficits in the first quarter every game it’s the nba...

He’s right, but it also shows why young teams don’t win. They don’t know how.

36-9 is bad and you might not win, but it’s on the coach and players to say “lot of time left, let’s cut the lead to 17 by half. Then, 10-11 by the end of the third. You have to create checkpoints in your head. That team’s not there yet. That’s gonna take time to commit to.
