I’ve always said I feel wise when I listen to an AZ album

Watching this interview——and seeing the title you chose ——really shows how far left we’ve veered. Nggas don’t even notice that cats nowadays speak in clickbait, gossipy, antagonistic ways. It takes seeing someone like AZ who’s not in the matrix not trying to impress etc to see how weird nggas have become in comparison

Truth here.

These dudes ain't solid. They're focused on gossip and funny business. They act like women in beauty parlors. So when someone like Sosa comes around, it kinda makes them unsettled because dudes are so used to being fake and investing in antics, that they get confused when they see someone who's not on that same bullsh*t. It's wild.

A lot of the reaction I've seen to the full interview has been people acting like AZ was in the wrong and that he came off arrogant, stand-offish, rude, ungrateful, like he didn't want to be there etc. And while people are entitled to feel how they feel and their perceptions are their own that's not at all how I viewed this exchange.

Not wanting to engage in negativity for the sake of views, clicks, likes, sales or whatever metric people are using isn't the same as not being engaging or personable.

Being honest and straightforward in regards to what fans may want versus what's realistic or what the artists themselves may want isn't the same as being mean, rude or pessimistic.

Just because you have someone on your platform doesn't mean you're entitled to a performance by them that's out of their character in attempt to go viral.

Once a question has been answered the best idea is to move onto another question, not ask it a different way 3 or 4 more times hoping to get a more salacious answer.

Exactly. Dude with the dreads I highly despise that ngga. He thinks he’s WAY more important/intellectual than he is. I only skimmed forward a few times and every time he was saying some argumentative contrarian shyt

AZ: yea i was hustling I wasn’t thinking about a deal
Mush mouth: ‘WOW, Like that’s crazy to me!! How is that!?’…… :scust:

They're mad fake. And to be real, they're nobodies.

The wack podcasts expect people to come on there and be lower versions of themselves for clicks. Their bills getting paid rely on actual legends saying things they can use to get interest from viewers and listeners. We don’t listen or watch these things for the people in the shop. We don’t care about them. We care about the guests. But they don’t respect the people they bring in, and they try to approach them all with the same nonsense they think will get them some hot takes or buzzwords to promote drama or whatever to bait people into watching.

AZ is one of those people that doesn't play in the fake game. Which is why all of the legends who matter, respect him. These dudes are so invested in this new fake and phony vibe that when some real sh*t pops up, they can't handle themselves around it and end up looking stupid. But that's how bad the culture is right now. And exchanges like this really tell the story. So I'm glad Sosa went up there and exposed it and them. Because we used to see way more people who carried themselves like he does before the fake thing became normal. It's refreshing to see that it's still out there with our real legends.

Yep, plus his Bag Fuel interview was much better, AZ was more candid as well. Those cats did it right.

@ 22:26 Just played a part that’s a perfect example of the fukkery that is ‘new media’

Math: So what’s the gameplan for the music now?

AZ: For me there is no gameplan. Great expectations bring great disappointment :ohlawd::salute:

Math: So you’ve seen some disappointments then :dahell:

AZ literally hit him with the :why: , when someone asks you a question so bad it make YOU stutter…’in what aspect, no :why:

They spent like the middle 25% of the interview trying to convince AZ to becoming a chatty patty :mjlol:

My Expert Opinion brehs: You so mysterious! The fans wanna know the story to why you don't tell your whole story!

AZ: Word, word :ehh:
