I feel what you saying but I don't think its that deep. I mean this is AZ we're talking about. The only guest on Illmatic. The first one in the Firm. The Essence, The Flyest, So Serious
If there's ANY rapper that would have any right to rock over a Nasir beat its AZ. They did shows together just last year during the initial Illmatic tour, I wouldnt think AZ of all people would do anything that Nas deemed respectful when it comes to the music. I'm not saying their the best of friends but there's a history built upon mutual respect between them
Nah lol. This ain't disrespectful, they are cool. AZ did his thing, it ain't gonna detract from Nas who is much more well known.

Loved it but on that remix it should of been added after NaS's 2nd verse as the third verse. Even on the song I felt NaS should of done one more verse. Also everyone talking, "There should be an EP'. What for? NaS and AZ got close to a Double LP worth of Callabor's when you include the Firm album and other songs they've done. They were even nominated for a Grammy together for "The Essence". I'm not saying I wouldn't welcome it but I don't see the point now. With I give you a song from my senior year that I wore out:
