100% pure bullshyt. More of that "bu bu white peoples ain't gunna do this" bullshyt.

When they repeatedly give out reparations.

What you are suggesting is black people need to give up and do nothing
.

And you think All black people deserve reparations from the USA?:camby:

I didn't say black people should give up, my guy. I said we don't have a unified voice or motive, we're too fragmented in what our approach should be. As long as we are, we aren't helping our cause...

America isn't giving us these reparations unless they want to, because they control the power and movement here. What do we have to do to make them want to give us reparations? I'm sure you know reparations talk didn't just start two or three years ago, a decade ago, etc. These ideas and proposals have been floated to the elected officials and our government fir a long time, so what aren't we doing that will FINALLY entice them to give us reparations?

And nah, I ain't with the black on black separatism. For one thing, there should be some clear distinctions on who is acceptably black, because any random "just be Ados" stipulation can easily be manipulated. So since there is no perfect foolproof measure of blackness, why would I favor excluding black immigrant descendants?

I normally don't even engage in these type of conversations on here. Why you so mad, bruh?

Peep how the entire thread is filled with posts saying “We ain’t getting no reparations!” with laughing smilies. Makes you wonder... :mjpls:

Makes you wonder how those posters understand the obstacles around the idea of allowing the government giving only black ppl a paycheck for being descendants of slavery?

How does a politician sell that idea without getting rebuked from voters who don’t support that plan?

what judicial ramifications are in place if the government were to pass a reparations legislation?

100%...

If they even gave all black adults $100,000, its potentially damning to what it could do to the power dynamic in America. $100,000 for all of us isn't enough to run the nation but it is definitely gonna buy us more seats at the table in short order, within a generation...

And because of that it'll never happen...

I've said if it does happen it will be when the currency or land they give us loses its value. White Flight is the best example I can think of. White people let us "have" neighborhoods after they've found a new spot. The only way I see them miraculously atoning for their bs is when the American dollar equals pennies or they're ready to/already establishing things on another planet and give us the land aka no time soon.

Yep and at the end of the day we all know reparations is possible but as you said they have to agree and sign the bill. Just like this bill to give 1 trillion and even still with this emergency the bill is still having issues passing through.

Second as I have said on here before. No one gives you shyt without two things...one being what they will get out of it or two can you make them give it to you.

And that is the two issues black folks have whether that is getting reparations here or anywhere else blacks folks have been oppressed.

Thank you!

would you accept only 2k for reparations? :lupe:
That's 2k for every household. There are 128 million US households compared to 14 million African American households. Do the conversion and it's 18k per black household. Then consider Bernie wanted to do this monthly meaning he intends do this let's say for 3 months hoping it all blows over. That'd be 54k to every black household. Nearly all estimates still say that that's too low, but I wouldn't be mad at that :ehh:
Throw in the trillion they're putting into the economy, and you're up to 125k for each black household. Still an undershot, but now we're talking :ehh:
The money is there
