An Indian dude I roomed with in school literally explained how his family got a business grant just for being Indian and that his parents got a discount on life insurance that me or you CANT get. Very thorough family he belonged to, no need to lie to my broke nobody ass.

I asked you what programs education programs that immigrants get that everyone else doesn’t and that article you posted says the finacial aid is something that every citizen gets. They just opened them up to a whopping 513 dreamers as long as they apply for citizenship and enlist in the arm services. Seems like a fair deal to me.

I thought you were talking about red dot Indians. Why wouldn’t Indians get grants when this country was literally stolen from them?

How the fukk can you hate on a program that provides mentorship to black youth and provides resources to get in college? How can you hate on black youth who were on the wrong path in life and got on the right path because of this program? How can you hate when mentorship is desperately needed in black youth circles?

I did a quick google and didn't find any information about 2 million dollar proposal toward free education of illegal immigrants. Can you provide a link? Anyway, the reason why illegal immigrants can get free public education is because a REPUBLICAN Supreme Court made it possible in 1982. Plyler v. Doe - Wikipedia

Tariq also forgets to clarify to these guys that it is Hispanic Immigrants getting most of these scholarships. They ain't just throwing scholarships out like candy. Black immigrants have still have had to pay tuition at HBCUs and other colleges. Now there are scholarships like the Thurgood Marshall scholarship and other things like that they can get like any other Black person but as far as immigrant scholarships, those primarily go to Hispanics

“Militants” aren’t making threads about Obama on here. Most of “us” are trying to forget he ever existed and move on to the future.

The only point I see, is to inflate and protect his legacy. Which at the end of the day is more important to y’all than any tangible results. Because his ultimate influence was being a symbolic figure.

Eventually y’all are gonna have to leave his 8 years and the 2016 election where it belongs. In the rear view..

Falling over yourselves to give him praise for doing things that athletes and entertainers have already been doing in our community for years seems silly. I mean he WAS the leader of the free world and commander and chief of the world’s biggest military. I would hope he’d be able to accomplish more than what Jim Brown and Chance the Rapper do in their spare time.

But I’ll let y’all cook. This is all probably too advanced for my pea sized militant brain to comprehend.
