I didnt say were completely defeated. I agree with you that we arent. But repeating things of the past that clearly didnt work will not help (IMO).
Black panthers- militant group that sought to build strong communities with "protection" consisting of weapons. FAILED
Rosewood/Black wallstreet- group economics that sought to be self reliant. FAILED
MLK/Civil Rights Movement- sought to assimilate into American society so that wouldnt be mistreated.FAILED
Every solution I see consists of a combination of these three ideas. Not that they're dumb ideas, but they failed. And they'd fail again today because those in control of the"white supremacist system"would ENSURE they fail. So the question we should be asking is ""whats next?" instead of us repeating these ideas again.
