Tez went in the first verse though.

No matter how dope we have seen Cortez over the years it always seems like he suprises people when he spits fire in a battle.

Gave that battle to b-dot 2-1 edged cortez the 1st rd, edged b dot the 2nd, and b dot took the 3rd clearly

I think the mistake cortez made, was criticizing b dot for being too preachy, then turned around and got preachy if it's corny then it's corny cortez, cortez tried to come in and beat b dot at his own game and lost momentum each rd doing so.

Wasn't one of b dot best performances , the cold was def effecting him, but I did like the balance of street talk and history. Couple of those history facts I thought would fly over the crowd head, but damn seem like he got his biggest reactions with them, I guess people getting smarter.

B dot victory.. Been in my top 2 favorites to watch since the Fiji battle.. But yo I watched the bootleg on my phone, and the sound is weird. Like the crowd is off almost like a quiet room, but you can tell it's because they got the crowd volume turned off for the live broadcast.. Can't wait to see the official release, cause I like feeling the crowd energy when someone snapping..

Probably not

Him & Verb seem to be on a battle rap tour just making money, as they are on a lot of the same cards.

I wouldn't totally dismiss the idea of Cortez getting a Surf battle, just because he somehow lands these battles (ie Rex, Arsonal). However, it's highly unlikely unless a platform like UDubb or Gorilla Warfare actually wants to do it.

I think Verb is building up some momentum musically and with these last 2 battles, I think he should make one final run at a Lux battle. I think one fire performance on the URL would do it.
Remember how high Chilla's stock was after Prep? His stock was so high he could have went straight to NOME/SM right after that battle. URL put that nygga through the gauntlet though. Verb wouldn't really need to do that. Just one high level performance against the right opponent on a Born Legacy event.

This is what happened. When Cortez calls somebody out, it hasn't always worked out in his favor. When Cortez gets called out, he keeps the critics quiet. So after all that offering challenges to B Dot and all that talking, he now has either a loss or debatable. For Cortez, though its a good showing, a majority of the fans got it B Dot, 2-1, which in the end doesn't look as good for him. It was almost like he was depending on B Dot to be that predictable and the tables got turned on him.
