BG didn't out do prodigy on that song....I love geezy verse but prodigy's lyrics on that were on point....

BG's lyrics were nicer than prodigy's on there too.

more importantly, its about more than just lyrics. BG OWNED THE TRACK.

prodigy spit his chit but BG gave you those chills in ya bones homes.

I remember the murda mil "ride out" video was out at the same time as YBE.

cant find some of these videos on youtubes anymore. whats going on?

the beginning of 2001 was like the last great run for singles. like the last time you could watch videos without being bombarded with bullchit half or most of the time. and 106th & park had adults in the crowd.

BG really should have had a better rollout since he got out of jail.
Instead he came out looking moist.
With nothing substantial music wise to show outside of some mixtapes.

This album was the beginning of Cash Money's shift sonically. They were moving away from their original NO bounce sound and drum patterns. It was like Fresh experimented with a different sounds on this album. This dropped end of Fall 2000

Crazy how the 1st run was pretty much over at this point. Juvie was gone, Turk was gone, B.G. was leaving and only Wayne remained. I wonder how far they could of took it if they kept the original core together with the signature sound until at least 2002.
