I always felt deep down that even if Eazy never died there would be too much egos involved for Dre and Cube to release a NWA album under Ruthless since they had already bossed up and had their own labels with platinum success.. at least not in 95, maybe 96 when Dre bounced
But there might not have been a westside connection if NWA reunited in 96.. what if Bow Down was an NWA song instead

You're wrong in several points. Eazy was certainly not broke, Jerry Heller said Ruthless was pulling in $10 MILLION A MONTH. Further Eazy had 20% of the PUBLISHING FOR THE CHRONIC. Bone went platinum.
The narrative that the movie pushes is that Eazy had failed at life and curled up in a ball and sucked his thumb and cried. That's a joke.

But everyone says Eazy was just the check writer. He didn't really know the business like that. That's why to me it makes sense that everything started falling apart. Just like when these athletes put all their trust in an accountant, then all of a sudden when the accountant is gone , assets and valuables start deteriorating. So yeah Ruthless was probably pulling in all that dough , doesn't mean E knew what to do with it . And if you known street niccas , when u feel like shyt is caving in u resort to what u actually know to make cheese (which is why I believe he started thinking about slangin weed) . I've watched the movie probably5 times. Didn't come off to me like he was broke, just blindsided with all the bills.
Oh and out here you can kinda play the system and "modify" your home loan for a looooooonnngggggggg time . I got folks that do real estate. It's one hell of a career to play in
