You must be a bg stan dude was never that dope only reason dudes is picking him is because their more familiar with him & he had more world wide hits & exposure.

C murder was overshadowed by the no limit wave & was basically seen as another no limit artist like a lot the rappers on no limit. Dude had some hard shyt was very consistent & always had dope albums.

You probably think bg was better than mac fiend mia x & mystikal to huh

Just imagine if BG was signed to no limit he basically be like Mr serv on & be forgotten about by now

:ehh:

great point about how no limit artists tend to get overlooked in favor of lesser rappers because of the way the label was modeled.

c-murder still not f*ckin wit the BG tho.

:patrice: I feel like BG is a better rapper but I bump C-murder shyt way more. I still bump Life or Death and Bossalinie til this day. Chopper City in the ghetto is classic but i just never think to go back to it really. I legit have days where I just load a bunch of Nolimit on my ipod and zone out to that at work.

Same here. I know BG is a better talent but I find myself reaching for the C Murder shyt 8/10 times. :yeshrug:

Imo...I think its more of a preference in terms of what you wanted to hear on an album..

I will say this with the fact that i never listened to a C-Murder album..But from what i've heard from C, it was just some gutta street shyt with him..With gutta southern beats..

BG albums was more "smoother"....And Mannie Fresh was giving him production that was hood but it was musical and had "bounce"to it...So I would tend to gravitate to that more...

BG albums musically was less "regional" sounding and more well rounded...
