Sad Day

I remember I walk into work that early morning and someone said a plane hit a tower in NYC

and I was like damn malfunction or something and next thing I know another one hit and seeing people jumping to they death

feel sorry for all those people who loss love ones and actually having to relive that moment every year and how the media in big part seem like to exploit it for their benefit

The I in Team
The worst day. Never will forget that day and where I was. I’ll always remember being at the office after everything went down and just being in a daze. Dude at my office was acting like it was regular day and asking the secretary to make some revisions on a contract. Secretary started typing and just looked at her hands like, “what the fukk am I doing?” and just got up and left. I also remember being home and watching the news and seeing all the destruction and feeling so depressed. It felt like the beginning of world war 3. The world never been the same since.

I was glued to the tv all day. It was hard to wrap your mind around what you were witnessing. Every channel was running coverage 24/7 for the next few days, I had to turn it off. The eeriest thing for me was I lived not far from Midway Airport, I was used to hearing and seeing planes at all hours of the day. For the days after it was silence.

Your dreams
Imagine what its like living in a country where bombings/suicide bombings are a regular occurrence?

I don't know how they are all not crippled by anxiety...

I was 15 in Virginia. I just remember that was the second time I'd ever been let out of school early for some type of non-local/non-school related event (the first was in middle school after the Columbine shyt hit national news). The levity of what happened didn't even hit me until years later.
