You can't speak on what all men want. I've been married to what women call a pick-me for over 27 years. Any woman who actually is self-aware and takes accountability for her choices is called pick me by these hellions out there. So while they remain in the 'play with me' designation, pick-mes are being picked by many men who care about their legacy and their children's future.

Well obviously there is room for error. But in my experience women who get called pick mes by other women,usually are. Now it may be over used nowadays like simp. But when I used to see it in the past,it seemed like an accurate description.


Its a woman whos always speaking on behalf of men,or playing devils advocate for men. Men and women both know thats not a womans place. And it usually comes off as performative,and is often times fake.

Women no matter what box they check can get picked by the men they don't want. Plenty of women are picking men they do want, until they don't want them anymore because of consequences of their poor picker. Hell, the majority of young women are in relationships while the majority of young men are not (30% men in relationships compared to 60% of women). That means the majority of young women are actually sharing the same guys. Again proving many of them have poor pickers.

Oh, and when I hear pick-me come out of the mouth of most women, it is because the women they are calling that made a statement those women do not like or exposed an issue those women do not want exposed. I've seen women called pick-mes for telling women they have to be responsible for their own actions. I've seen women called pick-mes for telling other women what they are saying is some illogical BS. Pick-me is just a word used by many women to quickly disregard another woman's view, is what I have noticed.

Men love our egos being catered to, being made to feel like a king. A “pick-me” will tell their man how handsome, brave, strong they are etc, even if they truly don’t believe it because they know that’s what keeps a man happy.

Women who look down on pick-mes consider catering to their man’s ego as an act of submission. They genuinely feel the man they’re with doesn’t deserve to be happy because deep down, they know they settled so they take it out on the guy they’re with.
