Sold 6 mil before his death with AEOM :camby:
Yeah he was sitting at 6-6.5mil by the time he died, the album was well on its way to passing 10mil had he lived..he was just getting started with a ambitionz as ridah movie coming out and more singles to carry that album at least another year...it was at 9mil by time 98 came around...

Holler If Ya Hear Me though :banderas:
But yeah I took one listen to the dub of that album back in 93 and moved right along...

But this all stems from you saying Pac was a struggle rapper at this time...he clearly could make amazing songs...just hadn't yet cracked the code on a whole album yet. But in no way shape form or fashion was he struggling.

respectfully disagree
(note: struggling rapper meaning in ones success not ones quality)

by the summer of '93 he had 2 albums under his belt / 3 movies under his belt / a bunch of tv guest appearances under his belt and he was on 1 of the top music labels

YET
with all these accolades he STILL wasnt a gold artist

IMO that's a struggling rapper

see @spliz
that's not me being bias that's me dropping FACTS to support my opinion on the term 'struggling rapper'

:yeshrug: no hate :manny:

You see me arguing my views as anything other than speculation? Regardless of when it was certified, by the time the MTV awards came around, Pac was saying it was at almost 7mil..

He went gold in September of that year though :yeshrug:
He clearly wasn't struggling in the summer when he was on the way to a gold album and 2 gold singles...one of which hadn't even dropped yet.

i dont understand :what:

he debut'd in late '91 and got his 1st gold record in late '93
thats (2) years

and as i stated its not like he was just some no name, no face, no identity rapper on a small independent label
he had all perks being on tv, being in movies, being part of a top group, being on the top label in the industry

i dont know how not to define that as a struggling rapper

What does him debuting in 91 have to do with anything?

If you want to cal him a struggle rapper on the first album that's a different story. :yeshrug:
But with the second album, it went gold the same year it was released and had two gold singles both certified in 93. :ohhh:

Two of the highest charting singles in 93 :ohhh:
1993 in hip hop music - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Especially if you don't count Snow and Whoomp There it Is :lolbron:

So where is the struggle?

breh - i said he was a struggling rapper in summer '93

2pacalyse oct '91 / SFMN feb '93 ----->>>> SFMN gold sept '93 / 2 singles gold in dec'93

obviously he wasn't a struggling rapper by late '93
