You know they have to purchase the certifications, right? AEOM went 9x platinum by 1998. It's very likely the album actually crossed the 10 million mark in the late 90s/early 2000s.

Big difference is Pac still had music droppin all those years. Biggie's most accessible and popular album is LAD and he doesn't have much of a selection after that. 3 albums. And 2 were made while he was living. Most people who copped Biggie's music copped LAD. U can be a Pac fan and never have purchased AEOM. Maybe u feel MATW Pac more. Or Makaveli Pac more. Or Political Pac. Etc.

Exactly 2pac released another album a few months after dying,then another 25$ double album in 97',then a double album 25$ greatest hits in 1998,then another album in 99",then another 25$ double album in 2001,then another with better days i mean damn.
