When they were younger

College was funded by the state and federal government so it was cheeper

There was less people in the country

There were no extra technology expenses

There were more raw materials readily available

Cars were cheaper to buy and cheeper to maintain

Items that were considered luxuries and basic now

You could count the number of billionaires on one hand

They didn’t have to compete with black people since the laws and culture overall were slanted heavily in their favor. They didn’t have to go to grade school or college with us.

The standard of living in America is dropping in general.

One man could fund an entire household at one point. Cars, college, everything.

We are finishing the era where it takes two adults to barely make it.

In the future it will take maybe 4 adults to hold down a household maybe sharing 2 cars.
