Aww hating nikkas in they feelings. Lemme help you out.

Reasonable doubt sold a whopping 43k units and debuted at number 20 on the Billboard

Lil Baby with My Turn moved 197k with 40k direct buys and of course debuted 1

We can keep going...
fukk is you smoking

RD was Hov first album

Baby already been out for 3-4 years with 6-7 projects when My Turn came out

Completely different eras and climates too

He wasn't, but that's another topic entirely.

The problem with your logic is you're trying to snapshot careers based on a debut album.

Lil Baby been around 3 years.

Jay has been around 25+ years.

If Lil Baby falls off at any point before 25 years, it ain't gonna matter what his debut sold.

And using sales to argue who is better is some 16 year old white girl shyt. You like N'Sync too?

Fred.

I'm comparing the starts of their careers which you bytch ass Hov fans obviously take offense to so I'm trying to understand whats wrong. Its not even about sales. JayZ was a relative nobody even after his first album and Baby is one of music's top praised among his peers and one of the top earners in rap. Hov was nowhere near where Baby is after 1 album and that's just facts. Sorry nikka:myman:

yeah a nobody gets one of biggest rappers at the time, BIG on their album :mjlol:
Established artists always latch on to the new waves, even still today. I said Jay wasn't that known and he wasn't outside the east coast. Not that he wasn't talented.

lil baby doesn't have the charisma, candor or performance skills to ever be considered a superstar.

if you really see what's happening behind the scenes, his books have been cooked for years.

mediocre ticket sales, mediocre record sales all propped up by some clever fakery via streaming numbers etc.

nikka must of came back to work to some bullshyt this morning to be writing like this :dead:
I'm still waiting on somebody to make an actual argument that disproves my point. Baby has more commerical success and more peer acknowldegement and more acknowledgement in general while Jay's first project literally came and went. Please prove me wrong if you can.

Commercial success <<<<< timeless quality.

Do you know the bars for the first 5 songs on Da Baby/Lil Baby "critically acclaimed" projects? Not the hooks, just the bars.

When was Jay on top? never

His pr campaigns and his stans make you think he was but you can't say when he was on top
