Look up 2 Live Crew, Kilo Ali, MC Shy D, and Raheem The Dream. You'll see exactly where them patterns came from. Trap Music is just Miami Bass slowed down. It's called Miami Bass but it was really heavy in Miami and ATL. Toomp used to go by DJ Smurf and was one of the pioneers of Miami Bass music coming to ATL and Trap Music with T.I.
