That's not the blueprint to go broke. In fact that is the main blueprint artist are following now to get paid. Make mixtapes, give them away and then tour off of it. Even if Wayne never gets the money he's owed he'll be straight with his back catalog. He should be able to tour the world for the rest of his life. Even if he never drops another project he'll still be straight.
Baby's game plan is the following:
He needs Lil Wayne to renogotiate and sign a new contract that will legally allow him to pay Wayne much less than the 20+ million payout that Lil Wayne is owed for the next album he turns in that is APPROVED for release.
Until Lil Wayne folds and signs a deal for less money Baby will just say "this current album isn't approved" and Lil Wayne can't put out an album for the millions he's owed.
The only thing Lil Wayne can do is give out FREE MUSIC in the form of mixtapes and do club dates and mini tours off his mixtape material.
So Lil Wayne is basically just gonna go broke until he folds and signs that deal allowing Baby to rape him for a low price
I think his mainstream rap career is over though. The same way 50 got thrown out the system when he said fukk Jimmy Ivonne. He was making the same music or better than he had been making but the powers that be that press buttons stopped pressing the buttons. I think Wayne is in the same situation now.

He aint gonna get paid much off those album sales anyways. He gonna eat off of touring/merch, he'll be alright, just cant drop a new album. He needa just do a Weezy album unless that names under contract, and do it digital and self press.
