Why do I like this album more off of first listen than Cole album wtf.

Because Keem makes better music.

All the rappity rappin skills in the world isn't gonna hide a tin ear for beats and generic songwriting.

Keem laps Cole in terms of actual music.

I finally gave it a listen, it’s surprisingly good, probably the best project released so far this year. It really showcases some excellent songwriting despite Keem not being an A1 mcee. Great use of melodies, songwriting, composition,...

Fact. Keem understands music in a way Cole can't. This album is proof of that...there's less musical mistakes on this than there's on Cole's album.
