It's not canon yet about baby yoda.... But the MAIN reason WHY the jedi was not allowed love and outside relations was because it was a serious way to give into the darkside... Look at how easily anakin was swayed by palpatine targeting his emotions..It was the same thing with episode 6 when Vader mentioned Leia... They wanted luke to give in.. KNOWING how the emotions can push you to the darkside... it's an emotional state it always has been...
