Babyface easily.

If you were to choose your favorite 10 RnB hits from the 90s, I bet you there is a 90% chance at least one of those songs, if not more, were written and/or produced by him.

The dude had hit after hit.

and none of these are even getting into Boyz II Men, Shanice, Toni Braxton, where he wrote most of their biggest hits. I'd be spamming this thread otherwise.

edit: AND, this is ignoring he has plenty of hits/classics on his own. Love R Kelly but its not even a fair contest imo.

@CodeBlaMeVi :mjlol: trolling? La Reid was his writing partner. That's literally how laface came to be.
Go watch interviews about that relationship dynamic from Darryl Simmons. Babyface had writer placements before LA Reid. Darryl said paraphrasing ’LA Reid ain’t write ish’. LA Reid’s contributions were business development (aka getting artist to work with) and providing percussions to their hits. He was definitely entitled to writing credits but this conversation is about lyricism. They are legit videos on YouTube where crowds have given Kenny words and he turned them into songs. So, stop trolling. Find me a writing credit from LA Reid without Babyface or Darryl Simmons name attached.

And LA Reid has said differently. In his book and in interviews. And he always gives Kenny credit. :manny:
