I know WHY he got paid, that's not my point. Overpaying a position hurts other areas. And unless you are that type of QB of the true elites, I don't agree with it. If the Niners gave Kaep 20 mill plus a year after this year, I wouldn't agree either.
I think Flacco is good (2nd tier of QBs after the elites), but not the type who deserves elite money.

People need to realize a good performance in a SB winning run on a great team doesn't make you an elite QB automatically. They did the same shyt with Eli and he's better than Flacco. Neither of them are on Peyton, Brady, Brees, Rodgers level.

Their defense played very well in the playoffs except for against the high-powered Denver offense and the second half of the SB.
I never said Flacco didn't play well in the playoffs. He obviously did (although Boldin helped with a lot of tough grabs in traffic). I just said he's not elite.

Edit:and the only game our D played good was against the pats
They sucked against the colts, was subpar vs the broncos, and subpar vs 9ers
