1) You're paying out the ass to LEARN. Take care of business first then have fun.
If you come off as a cool kid make friends with the nerdy kids in ur classes who you can tell don't have many friends and use them as needed when ur stuck with homework or cramming for a test. They'll appreciate the company and you'll get an expert (if you picked the right guy) to help you out.
2) start looking for internships from day one. There might not be job postings but if you wanna work at a certain department for a certain company, Google the people that matter and start asking them if you can shadow them. Domt come off as thirsty. At the end of the day you're at school to get a job, so once ur passing classes to your adequate standard, work on gaining relevant work experience.
3) Instant way to gain social capital on campus is to join a sports team. Girls love athletes. If you're not the fit type, don't worry do your thing and join other clubs with a healthy female population, where you can use ur strengths to stand out (debate club, student government, etc.)
4) Don't lose sight of what's important. Graduating > getting relevant work experience > social capital.
