I'm thinking... If someone from 2023 had got into a time machine and went back to 1995 to talk to the 18 year old me and said, "People 28 years from now will listen to music not because it sounds good, but because of what it "sells "while bragging about sells of their favorite artists", I would have bet my life this would never occur. I can assure you my entire time on earth, I've never bragged about nor cared what anything sold I've ever listened to or bought.
