Except indy stars are sent to development to "kill" their indy way of working a match so they can adept to working the "WWE style". Plus, those televised matches are heavily scripted.

No point of watching and trying to emulate Sasha and Bayley in NXT knowing full well the NXT working style (especially for the Divas) is definite no go on the main roster. It very difficult to tell a great story in the ring when the script is straight garbage and there always some unnecessary last minute change in the structure of the match.

Honestly, the WWE just need to stop doing so many working dates per year. 13 PPVs, house shows, WWE sponsored events, and the constant traveling is putting a great deal of wear and tear on performers bodies.

They clearly aren't toning anyone down like they did in the past. Kevin Owens is doing the exact same shyt he did as Kevin Steen, Neville is down stuff that not even Evan Bourne was allowed to do. There's no more "WWE style" on the main roster as we knew it 2-3 years ago. Even Cena adapted to a more indy style, based on more moves and a shyt ton of false finishes.

My point is that they SHOULD be telling them to work more like Sasha/Bailey. I'm not saying the wrestlers are spontaneously gonna adapt, but that someone should be telling them/forcing them to smarten up and move towards a happy medium were they can still do their moves, but have more focus on storytelling so they are not killing themselves every damn week on TV for a cheap pop via spots/nearfalls that are gonna have diminishing returns the more you do them.

And yes, I agree, they should also cut down their workload.

Agree.

Yes, they understand but they cannot do it. How many times have we heard via shoots and interviews on how they are pretty much encourage to one up their colleague in the ring to get the attention of Vince for how ever long?

The "compete at all cost" mindset that has been cultivated backstage is costing these performers

And the sad part is it rarely works out for guys who try, too.

Haven't they been wrestling for 300 days a year for a long time tho'? I don't feel like that's a new thing, sometimes shyt just happens. Look at Edge- that dude fell of ladders and went thru tables and all types of shyt, and strangely enough, never got injured doin' that shyt... yet, he would always get injured doin' regular shyt- one time, he took a bad backdrop from Kane and had to take 4 months off. I think it's the style and how they take harder bumps now.

He needs to take a hiatus. A long one. And I still can't believe that they wasted King of the Ring on this scrub.

Even Mr. Kennedy didn't have this bad of luck.

Kennedy was going to get a push most wrestlers DREAM of getting.

Barrett ain't shyt compared to what Kennedy was going to get

He bike and healthy :mjcry:
Nope, but they're trying to sell it that way, until he gets a 2nd opinion or something. Notice he was never tagged into the match, which made it pretty much a 3 on 2, and he never is ringside when Roman is set to be around anymore.

Kurt Angle left because of the schedule, I don't blame him. I'm really surprised they're still on the road 300+ days out of the year, why? I don't understand.

Yeah, I may have to tell my sister to tell Wade's girl it's time to give it up. He's the best talker out the group, announce work ain't that bad. Even Macho Man was an announcer for a few years :manny:

It's crazy when you think about it. On the road for over 300 days a year. During house shows or smackdown and raw the same group of wrestlers wrestle multiple Times per show.

When I went to snackdown earlier this month I saw Roman wrestle 4 times that night. Saw the League of Nations three times. Rusev also had two matches solo, Roman and his family ( usos and Ambrose) were out there three times.

They just kept shuffling out the same dudes in different combos.
