if you google "bad monkey recast" you'll see that most of thr actors have been replaced.
From what I understand, the show got reworked after test screenings.

Are talking about the actors got recast before season 1 premiered? or are you talking about in season 2, they're getting rid of a lot of actors because they are following a different book, that has a new cast of characters?

Pre season 1. Rosa, the cop partner, Neville..a lot of people got recast.

You should not be surprised. He is always making movies with S Craig Zahler whose films are well made but kind of out of that mold that mostly reminds me of the type of movies Trumpsters would get off on. YMMV. Kind of the types of movies Clint Eastwood - who I loved way back when - would be starring in if he was still young enough.
