Decatur might as well be Atlanta. Same nikkas. I would put Macon, Augusta, Savannah and and the old real Atlanta as the most thorough places in GA. When I was in Atlanta damn near everybody that had been in a GA state jail knew bout macon nikkas. We definitely gotta reputation.
Mac Town nikkas no joke but what I've learned is nikkas in the jects period get it crackin street wise. You could be in Athens, Monroe, Lawrenceville, Columbus, Augusta, Savannah, Brunswick, greater Atlanta, etc. nikkas ain't playing. But the craziest nikkas are in Savannah, Mac Town, and SWAT from my life experiences. Those nikkas are a problem for nikkas with absolutely nothing to do with the street scene.

Prison is needed for these nikkas. Savannah/Chatham nikkas are just as wild as their brethren from Jacksonville/Duval.

Yeah Atlanta is tricky because the city has changed so much and people have been pushed out. East Atlanta is still poppin but alot of nikkas from like glenwood, kirkwood, edgewood got pushed out in to places like stone mountain and the other surrounding areas.

Decatur is hood too don’t get me wrong. My brother stay right off candler. I be hoping for his safety cause he don’t really be on shyt but he from the hood too.

why are we blaming zoomers?

their parents are gen Xers and they failed them by trying to be their friends instead of their parents

an entire generation is lost because of shytty, distracted parenting
I've been reading this ridiculous argument often here. That's a lazy cop out and a overgeneralizing statement but it sounds like you know what you're talking about. The moral devolution, disassembled social cohesion and roll back of recourses is by design and if you lived through the 70/ 80s you'd know through first hand experience how we got here. The drugs and guns came from somewhere, the complete destruction of traditional households, the redlining etcetera..

debating the symptoms wont change the result. the crack era is now almost 40 years behind us. the kids from that era are adults, they are raising kids and they grew up in a freer time than their parents. they had access to things their parents didn't. they ought to have done better. millennials are doing much better raising their kids; or not even having kids, than gen Xers. that generation is a wack, lame, lost cause

Atlanta rapper sentenced to 7 years in prison after tossing gun from car during police chase

An Atlanta rapper was sentenced for possession of a firearm a year after police said he led them on a highspeed chase on GA-400 in August 2021.
Police said Ibnisa Durr, 26, who is also known as Paper Lovee, crashed his vehicle and tried to throw a bag containing the gun over a guardrail.

A department spokesman said Sandy Springs police were assisting Atlanta police with trying to take a shooting suspect into custody.
Dashcam video released by Sandy Springs Police shows the suspect, Durr, get out of the car and throw something before he is tackled to the ground by police.

“Durr has a serious criminal history, which includes robbery and aggravated assault convictions,” said U.S. Attorney Ryan Buchanan. “His reckless conduct seriously endangered the lives of innocent motorists and officers. However, the coordinated efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies led to Durr’s capture, and subsequent sentence.”

“Anytime we take a career criminal off the streets of our great city, it’s a win-win situation for the city and the citizens of Atlanta,” said Atlanta Interim Police Chief Darin Schierbaum. “The collaborative efforts of the Atlanta Police Department and the Sandy Springs Police Department is another example of two law enforcement agencies working together to bring a criminal to justice.”

Durr pled guilty on May 25 and was sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison with 3 years of supervised release.

Except their actual parents...

Speaking anecdotally...
Every man i know mid to late 30's to mid 40's are over the top dedicated family men as a result of having no dad and an over burdened mother...
Cats go above and beyond to not be their fathers. Even those whose marriages didnt make it, are crazy in their kids lives...

A man involved in the shooting of a 3-year-old boy as he rode in the back of his father’s car earlier this month is Atlanta-based rapper “Dirty Tay,” according to music and culture magazine, Complex.
Atlanta police said Kentavious Wright, 24, was arrested on Aug. 19 on charges of criminal attempt to commit murder, criminal street gang participation, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and cruelty to children.
Police said a Kia pulled up next to another car around 4 p.m. on Aug. 3 on Peters Street and someone opened fire from the passenger’s seat. A bullet struck a 3-year-old boy who was riding in the backseat in the head. The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The child’s condition and identity have not been released.
Wright was arrested on Aug. 19.
Body camera video shared by the Atlanta Police Department shows officers pull Wright out of a car. During the arrest, officers noted that Wright had a large wad of cash in his pocket. Wright then asked if he could say goodbye to his girlfriend.

Wright is signed to Atlanta-based, Grammy-winning rapper Lil Baby’s label, 4PF, according to Complex.
TRENDING STORIES:
In a post shared on the rapper’s Instagram stories, Wright denied any involvement with the shooting saying, “the news is not always right, don’t bash me because of allegations.”
Atlanta police said they believe the father was targeted in the shooting and that it was likely gang-related.
