I remember growing up the heavyweight champ was considered"The baddest Man on the planet" is it still considered that way? With UFC,Bellator, boxing, etc all around now, we saying UFC champ Daniel C. Got bragging rights or D.Wilder, Jones,Fedor?

Now that the biggest/strongest/fastest athletes in America tend to play football, I wonder how they would actually do in a fight.

Andrew Billings is 6'1" 325lbs, runs a 4.9s forty and has a 28" standing vertical, was squatting 800+ lbs, dead lifting 700+ lbs, and bench pressing 500+ lbs....as a 17yo in high school.

What would actually happen if you got that guy in a fight?

Or Myles Garrett, or James Harrison, or Brian Cushing, or whoever else you want to add.


I think that if these guys were born 50 years earlier a lot more of them would have been boxers, but no one with size is looking to do that now.

So you just assume that every NFL player doesn't have that?

Obviously there are guys physically talented enough to choose between football and boxing. And obviously for the last 20+ years nearly all of them have been choosing football. So boxing has lost a lot of its top-tier talent, especially among American men.

Or do you really want me to believe that the Klitschko brothers were really the baddest men on the planet for 15+ years.
