If your video card is failing, it might not be a loss. I've done this before with a lot of success. Basically at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. I'd only try on a card you assume is a loss. Plenty of websites out there on how to do it, but it works
I've tried it with desktop and laptop video cards. Nvidia cards all of them.
