You need more than a strong arm to succeed in the NFL. You also need to be able to read defenses so you can anticipate throwing windows. Mayfield isn't intelligent enough to do that. Nobody in the media calls him out for that because of white privilege. Only black players have their ability to read defenses questioned. Thus far only Rex Ryan has astutely called him out for this. Mayfield is a one read QB with subpar athleticism and height.

When you can't read defenses, run, or see over the offensive line, your likelihood for success in the NFL is very low. Baker Mayfield is destined to be a bust like Rex Grossman. Remember, Grossman also had a big arm and not much else. This is who Mayfield is.
