Oh yea most def there were people who thought he would instantly be good. Just being in Cleveland just makes that difficult. I will say this, Cleveland did a good job getting talent and they have guys on both sides of the ball who can play.
I think Mayfield can play in the NFL but he needs seasoning. People compare him to Manziel but that's lazy analysis to me. He's a way more complete QB, he just needs guidance and development and I think he'll get it unlike the last 20 QBs that have dressed up in Brown and Orange.

Not my player projections. Those have been flawless. I was the only one who correctly predicted Alvin Kamara would be the best rookie RB in 2017. I was also the only one who correctly predicted Jayson Tatum would be the best player from the 2017 Draft. And I was also the only one who was saying Markelle Fultz (the #1 overall pick) was gonna be a bust before the 2017 Draft.
My draft projections have been essentially flawless lately.

The Browns are dumb for wasting their first overall pick on a developmental QB. You never waste the FIRST overall pick on development. That pick has to hit immediately. Should’ve taken Barkley or an offensive lineman.
