No, he’s on a team with a bunch of weapons with a greenlight to throw the ball. No one was entertaining this shyt when Herbert had Keenan and Mike Williams. Jameis threw for 5000 with those guys. Baker isn’t doing shyt with the Chargers weapons. But I’m going to have fun bumping this thread this year. Baker isn’t him.

I did watch Baker. A partner at my old firm is a season ticket holder. I like Baker. If Herbert was on the Bucs he would have even better numbers. Are you forgetting that Herbert pretty much has every young passing yard record? Please tell me what Baker would do with the Chargers WR core. Even with guys on and out - the Bucs WRs and OC were better than anything the Chargers had besides Ladd. Like the Chargers offense is entirely devoid of weapons.

I've said for years Herbert will always get the benefit of the doubt because everyone just knew he would be a superstar QB. No one wants to be wrong about their predictions. He has the "look" starting with the flowing blonde hair. With all that said give me Herbert lol, you can't teach 6'5 245 with a cannon

I’d probably lean towards baker based on last season. But he still has some of his old bad habits, like he lead the league in fumbles and interceptions. It’ll be interesting to see if he peaked last season or if he’s still on his way up
