When I shave my head I just use a combination of Balding clippers, alcohol, and non bump stuff you can pick up at walmart. Works wonders for me, been doing it for over a decade now.

To my newly bald brothers never go places that ur gonna be outdoors for a long time without a hat or that sun will make you pay a price

What do ya mean? I use a pair of whal clippers that are specifically for shaving heads just not as close as a straight razor. It’s a skin thing for me I cant shave close

Man I'll never pay a barber to cut my head. Complete waste of money for me. I also have very sensitive skin as balding clippers are my only option. Tried to cut close one time and got a bunch of ingrown hairs on my head... Never again. Luckily there was no scarring or anything from that ordeal.

I can shave myself in between time.

But

Yea my barber does a great routine for what I feel is a fair price. So I don't mind spending a few bucks once a month.

I shave, then alcohol/water mix, shower to exfoliate and finally cocoa butter oil.

Neve had any issues.

My routine is if I have the George Jefferson, I wash my head with regular Dove Sensitive soap. I'll cut my hair down with Oyster 76. I use either Gillette Fusion 5 or the Harry's. I just started using the Harry's because it was on sale and I actually like the shave. I use either the Gillette sensitive shave cream or the Aveeno sensitive shave cream. Apply Bevel aftershave to the scalp after the shave and rinse. I'll wait for like 15-30 minutes then wash my scalp with Dove sensitive soap. Apply small amount of fragrance free cocoa butter.

This is a reason I don’t rock the bald. Every so often I used to cut all my hair off

The problem is my skin is extra sensitive & will bump up. Shyt I just cut my hair down after 8 months to a bald fade & started bumping
